You Cannot Administer the Cluster Security Descriptor by Using the Cluster Administration Utility (812875)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to perform administrative tasks on the Cluster Security Descriptor (CSD) by using the Cluster Administration utility (Cluadmin.exe), you may receive the following error message:
Access to the cluster can be granted/denied only to domain users and groups. Please use the Security tab to remove the local users or groups.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if the Network service it not identified as a built-in account on the Microsoft Windows 2000-based client computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, apply the latest available service pack to the Windows 2000-based client computer. For information about how to do so, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
