SYMPTOMS

When you try to install or remove OmniPage Pro version 10, the installation may fail, and you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
Cannot find the file: Omnip~18.msi

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you try to install or remove OmniPage Pro 10 on a computer that has been upgraded to Windows 2000 from an earlier version of Windows. The Windows Installer version 1.0 that was used in the earlier version of Windows converts the "Omnipage10.msi" long file name to "Omnip~18.msi", and then cannot find a file with that name on the OmniPage Pro 10 CD-ROM.
