Screen Display Becomes Black and White When You Start Your Computer (812705)

SYMPTOMS

When you start your computer and Windows has almost started, the display may become black and white.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if there is a conflict between your Windows video adapter drivers and the Adobe Gamma software.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Adobe to inquire about the availability of a fix for this issue.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, remove the Adobe Gamma Loader shortcut from the Startup folder. To do so, click Start, click Programs, click Startup, right-click Adobe Gamma Loader, click Delete, and then restart your computer.

Note The Adobe Gamma Loader.exe file is located in the "Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Calibration" folder.
