PRB: An ldist Error Is Reported When Using Disk Management for the First Time from the WebUI (812632)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Server Appliance Kit (SAK), version 2.01
SYMPTOMSWhen you access the Disk and Volumes option
from the Server Appliance Kit (SAK) WebUI, you may receive the following error
message: Cannot find the file '/idlist,:x:yyyy,C:\' (or
one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that
all required libraries are available. CAUSEUsing Disk and Volumes, you can open a
terminal session in the SAK server and use the Microsoft Management Console
(MMC) Computer Management snap-in to perform disk management. The error occurs
because Explorer.exe is not launched when the terminal services session is
started. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section of this article.MORE INFORMATIONYou can safely ignore the error message. The cause of the
error does not affect the functionality of Disk Management or any other portion
of the SAK. The error message occurs only one time each session and does not
occur again until the system is restarted.
