Description:
The Open Procedure for service ""BTSSvc"" in DLL ""D:\Program Files\
Microsoft BizTalk Server\CISPERF.dll"" failed. Performance data for
this service will not be available. Status code returned is data DWORD 0.CAUSEThis problem has been seen to occur when a performance
monitoring tool named Candle Command Center is loaded on the computer running BizTalk Server. The
Kntcma.exe process of this tool tries to load BizTalk perfmon counters every
few seconds.RESOLUTIONBy creating the following registry entry on
your computer running BizTalk Server, you might resolve this problem. WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious
problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft
cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry
Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
- Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
- Locate and then click the following key in the registry:
HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\services\btssvc\performance - On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the
following registry value:

- Quit Registry Editor.
By adding this registry entry, you stop the performance tool
Kntcma.exe from trying to monitor BizTalk. STATUS
This behavior is by design.
