FIX: Wsdl.exe may generate an incorrect proxy (811867)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft .NET Framework SDK 1.0
  • Microsoft .NET Framework SDK 1.0 SP1
  • Microsoft .NET Framework SDK 1.0 SP2

SYMPTOMS

If a Web Service Description Language (WSDL) contains more than one binding, and if all the bindings use SOAP headers, an incorrect proxy may be generated. This occurs when the Wsdl.exe tool is used to create the Web service proxy. The proxy must have the SOAP header field in all the classes generated. Instead, the proxy has the SOAP header field generated only for the first class.
