OL2002: Draft Messages That You Create in Outlook Connector and Send From Lotus Notes Does Not Appear in Sent Items Folder (811623)

SYMPTOMS

When you create a new message in Microsoft Outlook 2002 Connector, save the message to your Drafts folder, log on to the Lotus Notes R5 client, open the message that you previously saved in your Drafts folder, and then send the message, a copy of the message is not saved in your Sent Items folder in Microsoft Outlook or in Lotus Notes.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, open the message that you previously saved in your Drafts folder when you log on to the Lotus Notes R5 client, and then copy the content of that message in a new message before you send it.

NOTE: This problem does not occur when you save a draft in Lotus Notes, log on to Microsoft Outlook 2002 Connector, and then send the draft that you previously saved in Lotus Notes.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Outlook 2002 Connector.
