EntX: Error -39: "End of File Reached" When You Receive E-Mail Messages (811574)

SYMPTOMS

When you start Entourage and try to receive your e-mail messages, you may receive the following error message:
Error 39, Preferences could not be opened end of file was reached.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you have a damaged Identity database file.

RESOLUTION

  1. Rebuild your Identity database file.
