XADM: Events 1154 and 1151 Logged When a Mailbox Is Moved (811253)



The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

When you try to move a mailbox from one Exchange 2000 Server to another Exchange 2000 Server, events similar to the following may appear in the Application log:

Event ID: 1151
Source: MSExchangeIS Mailbox
Description: A rule synchronization error (1144) has occurred on Mailbox Store "SG1\MB3 (SJOCA-XMB02)".
The mailbox folder is Top of Information Store\Inbox.
The distinguished name of the owning mailbox is /o=TEST/ou=TEST/cn=Recipients/cn=s140605.
There are 24 of 24 retries remaining.

Event ID: 1154
Source: MSExchangeIS Mailbox
Description: Rule synchronization has successfully completed.
The mailbox folder is Top of Information Store\Inbox on database "SG1\MB3 (SJOCA-XMB02)".
The distinguished name of the owning mailbox is /o=TEST/ou=TEST/cn=Recipients/cn=s140605.

CAUSE

Event 1151 is logged if the destination server tries to unpack the rules before the whole mailbox is moved.

Event 1154 is logged when the rule synchronization is successful.

MORE INFORMATION

The events listed in the Symptoms section of this article are usual behavior, and you can safely ignore them.
