The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Commerce Server 2000

SYMPTOMS

When the application nonsecure host name has four or more parts and the top-level domain is a country domain (for example, www.computer.microsoft.fr), the cookie domain for the AuthTicket and the ProfileTicket cookies is not set according the domain level settings of the application, and cookie sharing does not work for the scenario. This does not occur with international top-level domains, such as .com, .edu, .net, and .org.
