PI: Cannot Save Paper Project As Image File in Picture It! Premium 2002 (810620)

SYMPTOMS

When you create a blank paper project in Picture It! Photo Premium 2002, you may not be able to save the project as an image file (.jpeg). Picture It! only permits you to save the project in publishing document format (.php).

CAUSE

This issue may occur when you create paper projects. Paper projects cannot be saved as image files in Picture It! Photo Premium 2002.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, create a blank photo card project, and then copy the paper project content into it:
  1. Start Picture It! Photo Premium 2002.
  2. On the toolbar, click Pick a Design, and then click Blank Projects.
  3. Under Select a subcategory for "Blank Projects" , click Photos.
  4. Double-click the Blank photo design.
  5. On the File menu, click Open.
  6. Click the .php file that you want to save as an image, and then click Open.
  7. On the Edit menu, click Select All.
  8. On the Edit menu, click Copy.
  9. In the Tray area at the bottom of the Picture It! Photo Premium 2002 screen, click the unsaved new project.
  10. On the Edit menu, click Paste.
  11. On the File menu, click Save.
  12. In the Save As pane, select the type of image file that you want in the Save as this type box, and then type a name for the project in the Type a name box.
  13. Click Save.
