with MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries.MORE INFORMATIONVortex 2 Audio Chip SetWhen you try to use the Vortex 2 audio chip set with MechWarrior
4: Mercenaries, you may experience corrupted audio playback, and other audio
anomalies during installation and game play. As of November 2002, no driver
updates are available from Vortex for Vortex 2-based sound cards other than the
generic Vortex 2 driver that is included with Microsoft Windows 2000. Contact
your audio hardware manufacturer for more information.
