An Access Violation Occurs in Internet Explorer When You Click Cancel in the Print Dialog Box (810392)

SYMPTOMS

When you click Cancel in the Print dialog box, you may receive the following error message:
Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you click the click here link, you receive an error signature that is similar to:
   AppName       AppVer      ModName      ModVer       Offset
   ------------------------------------------------------------
   iexplore.exe  6.0.2600.0  imejp98.ime  6.0.41.3511  00001652
Note that this problem may occur if you are using the Japanese version of Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition, or Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me).

RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Internet Explorer 6 service pack that contains this fix.

When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
