SUMMARY

To convert a Microsoft Works for MS-DOS or Microsoft Works 4.0, 4.5, and 4.5a for Windows Spreadsheet or Database entry formatted for Time/Date into its decimal equivalent, multiply the number by 24.

For example, 9:15 A.M. can be converted to 9.25 with the appropriate formula below:

  • If 9:15 A.M. is in cell A1 of a spreadsheet, use:

    =A1*24

    -or-

  • If 9:15 A.M. is a field entry in a database, use:
