SUMMARY

The default file extension for MS-DOS Editor can only be changed by editing the QBASIC.EXE file. Modifying a part of the MS-DOS product in this manner voids the Microsoft MS-DOS licensing agreement and is NOT supported by Microsoft Product Support Services.
