You cannot print gridlines from the report view in a Microsoft Works for
Windows database; however, you can use the following workarounds.
WORKAROUNDWorks 3.0x and Works 4.0, 4.5, and 4.5a for Windows 95- Highlight the cells in the report definition screen.
- On the Format menu, click Border.
- Click the Line style you want for your gridlines.
- Click Top, Bottom, Left and Right, so
that there is a line in each of the four boxes. Click
OK.
Works 2.0- From the Edit menu, choose Copy Report Output.
- Open a spreadsheet and click Paste from the Edit menu
to paste the information into the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet may
need to be reformatted to display all of the report
information.
- From the File menu, choose Page Setup & Margins to
display the page setting dialog box, and select the Print
Gridlines check box.
The report will now display gridlines when printing.
