SUMMARY

The special codes &l, &c, &r used to left justify, center, and right justify text in a Works for Windows header/footer must appear in order from left to right. All other special codes (&p, &f,&n, &d, &t, and &&) have no precedence.

MORE INFORMATION

The order of precedence from highest to lowest is:
   highest: &r
                &c
   lowest: &l

Example

The following text properly displays a company name to the left, a date in the center, and a page number to the right:

&lCompany name &cDate &d &r Page-&p

If you place &r before the &c and the &l, any text following the &r will be right justified.
