Money: Cannot View the Full Name in Account, Payee and Category (76663)

This article was previously published under Q76663 SUMMARY When you create a new account, payee, or category, you can
type up to 32 characters. However, the full name may not be displayed
completely in the corresponding list box. This is dependent upon the font width
of the characters, the size of the window, and the resolution of the video
driver. WORKAROUND To see as many of the characters as possible, use any of
the following methods. Method 1 Maximize the Microsoft Money window. Method 2 Shorten the description. Method 3 Increase the resolution of your video display driver. Method 4 If you are using Large Fonts, change to Small Fonts. Notes Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the
following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your
product documentation to complete these steps. Be aware that these steps will
affect the display for all of your Windows programs and not just Money.
- Click Start, point to
Settings, and then click Control
Panel.
- Double-click Display.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Adjust the "Colors and Screen Area" settings
- Click Advanced.
Click
Small Fonts in the Font Size list on the
General tab if you have to. - To verify or change the installed video driver, click the
Adapter tab.
Note You may have to restart Windows to implement changes to your
display settings.
