Linked Spreadsheet in Word Processor Not Updated When Cleared (76470)

Pressing DEL or choosing the Clear command from the Edit menu to clear
the contents of a cell in a spreadsheet linked to a Word Processor
document does not update the item in the word processor module of
Microsoft Works.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Works versions 2.0 and
2.0a. This problem was corrected in Works version 3.0.
WORKAROUND
To update a linked information in the Word Processor, from the Edit
menu, select Links. Next, choose the Update Now button. This will
update the link with the most current changes to the document.
