SUMMARY

To change the way dates are displayed in Microsoft Money, you must change them from the Control Panel in Microsoft Windows. These changes will affect all Windows programs, not just Money.

MORE INFORMATION

To change the date format, use the appropriate method for your version of Windows.

Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows 98

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Regional Settings.
  3. Click the Date tab.
  4. In the Short date style box, click the date format that you want to use.

Note When you select the dd-MMM-yy date format, Money uses the d-M-yy format (for example, 9-1-00). However, other programs use the dd-MMM-yy format (for example, 09-Jan-00)
