To create a filter that shows only those tasks that are due to be completed on a specific date, use these steps:

Microsoft Project 98

  1. On the Project menu, point to Filtered For and then click More Filters.
  2. Click New.
  3. In the Name box, type Due Today.
  4. Enter the following fields:
    Field NameTestValue(s)
    Scheduled FinishWithin"Start date and time"? "Finish date and time"?


  5. Click OK. Click Apply.
  6. When you are prompted for the start date, type the date and time. For example, type this:

    11/15/90 12:00 AM

  7. When you are prompted for the finish date, type the date and time. For example, type this:

    11/15/90 11:59 PM

Microsoft Project versions 4.0, 4.1

  1. On the Tools menu, point to Filtered For and then click More Filters.
  2. Click New.
  3. In the Name box, type Due Today.
