SUMMARY

If you attempt to send a message that exceeds the size of the message buffer, LAN Manager will return the following error:
NET2282: The message was sent but not received

MORE INFORMATION

When messages are longer than the message buffer length, LAN Manager does not send a truncated message. The message is discarded entirely, and the above error message is returned to the sender. This is expected behavior.
