SYMPTOMS

When you click File, point to Send, and then click Page by E-mail in Internet Explorer, the XML-formatted Web page that you are trying to send is sent as an XML attachment instead of rendering as the text of the e-mail message.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because Internet Explorer parses only HTM-formatted pages in the text of a Microsoft Outlook e-mail message.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
