SUMMARY

The Windows Server 2003 WINS Management console and the corresponding Windows Internet Naming Service (WINS) Netsh command-line tool are designed to administer Windows 2003 and Microsoft Windows 2000 WINS servers. They are not designed to remotely administer Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 WINS servers.

MORE INFORMATION

Windows NT 4.0 WINS servers can be administered from WINS Manager in both Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000.
