PRB: Pipeline Project Wizard Does Not Work with Visual Basic 6.0 (329005)

SYMPTOMS

After you install Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 5, the Commerce Order Pipeline Visual Basic wizard does not work as expected.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the .vbz file is created by using Unicode encoding.

RESOLUTION

Workaround

To work around this behavior, do the following:
  1. Open C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VB98\Template\Projects\Order Pipeline Component.vbz in Notepad.
  2. Save the file by using American National Standards Institute (ANSI) encoding.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
