Symbols do not print when scaling in Microsoft Project 2000 (328956)

SYMPTOMS

When you change the scaling to 80% and then you print a project plan with Legends, the Milestone and Deadline symbols do not print in the last page or pages.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Project 2000 service pack that contains this hotfix.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem in Microsoft Project, follow these steps:
  1. Start Microsoft Project.
  2. Click File, and then click Page Setup.
  3. On the Page tab, select a different percentage for scaling the print., and then click OK.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
Expected Results: When you print the project and footer the data is complete.
Actual results: The later page or pages do not print the Milestone, External Milestone and Deadline symbols in the Legend.
