PRB: Cannot View Native Instance Data in Document Tracking (327835)

This article was previously published under Q327835 SYMPTOMS When you view the native instance of a flat file document
in the BizTalk Document Tracking tool, the document does not appear as
expected. CAUSE This problem occurs if you do not specify the correct code
page in the document specification when you create a CUSTOM specification.
RESOLUTION To resolve this problem, verify that you have specified the
correct code page for your document in the document specification. To do this,
select the relevant code page on the Reference tab in the
BizTalk Editor. By default, the code page is Western-European (1252).
STATUS This behavior is
by design.MORE INFORMATION When BizTalk Server logs the document in the tracking
database, it also logs the code page for that document. If you do not specify
the code page, or if you set the wrong code page in the document specification,
the native instance of the document may not appear as expected in the Document
Tracking tool.
