When you import a Computer Associates AllFusion ERwin Data Modeler (*.erx) file in the Japanese version of Microsoft Visio 2002, the database properties may display incorrect characters in the Physical Name.CAUSEThis problem may occur when the ERwin file name contains Double Byte Character Set (DBCS) characters as part of the object's file name.RESOLUTIONA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Visio 2002 service pack that contains this hotfix.
