PRJ2000: The Hide External Tasks Setting Is Not Honored When You Expand the Task to Show Subtasks (327327)

SYMPTOMS

When you use Microsoft Project 2000 and you select the option to hide external tasks, the program does not honor the settings. You may notice this problem when you expand the task to show the subtasks.

RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem.

When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
