SYMPTOMS

SiteName
The page cannot be displayed.
We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later. If the problem persists, please contact our webmaster.
where "SiteName" is the name of your Commerce site.

CAUSE

You used the CatalogSecurityRoles.sql script to secure your site product catalog database, and then you either imported a catalog, added a new language to an existing catalog, or created a new catalog. You receive this error because there are one or more new catalog tables, and these new catalog tables are not recognized by the catalog security roles which were generated before the new tables were created.

RESOLUTION

Run the CatalogSecurityRoles.sql script that is located in the following folder:

Program Files\Microsoft Commerce Server 2002\Support\

Run this script against the catalog database of the site after each time that you make any of the product catalog changes that are described in the "Cause" section.
