Custom Internet Printing ASP Files Are Overwritten When You Install Service Pack 3 (326427)

SUMMARY

When you install Service Pack 3 (SP3) for Windows 2000 on a print server on which you have configured custom Internet Printing Active Server Pages (ASP) files, some of these custom files may be overwritten.

This issue occurs because SP3 for Windows 2000 contains updates to many of the ASP files included with Windows 2000 that implement the Internet Printing feature.

Before you install SP3 for Windows 2000, back up your customized Internet Printing ASP files, and then restore them after you install SP3. The following files are replaced when you install SP3 for Windows 2000:

ipp_0013.asp
ipp_0004.asp
ipp_0010.asp
page1.asp
ipp_util.inc
