PRB: Entertainment Pack Does Not Install on Pocket PC (326297)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to install the Entertainment Pack on your Pocket PC device, you may receive the following error message:

application does not support the connected device type.

CAUSE

The earlier release of Entertainment Pack that is available on CD-ROM in stores is designed for handheld PC devices and palm-sized PC devices. Pocket PC devices were released after this version of Entertainment Pack, so the application was not designed for Pocket PC devices. Pocket PC devices can only use the Entertainment Packs that are available for download from the Internet.

RESOLUTION

The version of this software that works with and is designed for the Pocket PC is only sold online. To obtain this software, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
