SYMPTOMS

When you use Entourage 2001 for Mac to compose a message in Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) format, and you format the message body with both rich content and attachments, some MIME boundaries may be improperly generated. This may lead to interoperability problems with other e-mail clients.

NOTE: This symptom is not consistent and does not affect all messages meeting the previously mentioned conditions. Microsoft Entourage X is not affected by this issue.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Entourage 2001 for Mac.
