SYMPTOMS

When you try to add a template to the timeline in your Microsoft Producer presentation, you receive the following error message:
Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when you do not have Administrator rights on the computer. Microsoft Producer requires that you have Administrator rights.

RESOLUTION

To correct this problem, install the Microsoft Producer v1.1 Update.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Producer v1.1.
