The following Windows Millennium Edition DDK content is not included in releases of the Windows DDK after Windows XP:
  • Samples: VxD Samples for Windows Millennium Edition (Block, Display, Media Locking, General)
  • Tools: Windows Millennium Edition tools for debugging and development
  • Build environment: Windows Millennium Edition, DirectX for Windows 9x
NOTE: 16-bit build tools are included for virtual device driver (VDD) support.
