SYMPTOMS

If you use Microsoft Server ActiveSync to synchronize Inbox, Calendar, or Contact items on your personal digital assistant (PDA) with Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, you may receive the following error message on your PDA:
Synchronization failed due to a communications failure. Try again.
INTERNET_152

CAUSE

This issue may occur if the default Web site has been stopped.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue:
  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Internet Services Manager.
  2. Click to expand your server object, right-click Default Web site, and then click Start.
