An access violation (c0000005) may occur in the Exchange 2000 information store process, and the DrWtsn32.log file may contain the following stack trace:

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the information store stops responding because of an unsupported imail stream type.

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3.
