PPT2002: Macintosh PNG Files Are Displayed As Black (318035)

If you insert a Portable Network Graphic (PNG) file that was created on a Macintosh computer in Adobe PhotoShop, the file is displayed as solid black.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the Macintosh PNG file contains information in the alpha-channel of the picture and the PowerPoint graphics filter cannot decipher the information.
