PRB: TV Favorites and the TV Planner Lists Are Not Retained on a CEPC Platform (317950)

SYMPTOMS

TV Planner Lists and TV Favorites are lost when you turn off the CEPC.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because there is no persistent storage on a CEPC platform.

Steps to Reproduce the Behavior for TV Favorites

  1. On the Menu panel, click Favorites on the TV tab.
  2. Click Setup Favorites, and then select some channels that you want to add to your favorites list.
  3. Press the 9 key to power off.
  4. Turn the power back on.

Steps to Reproduce the Behavior for TV Planner Lists

  1. Click TVlistings, and then click For today.
  2. On the TV Listings page, click a program that airs in the future.
  3. Click Remind, click to select the check boxes remind concurrently and Tune to channel when program begins, and then click Finish.
  4. Click Continue, and then click Done.
  5. Make sure this reminder for the program is displayed on the Planner page on the TV tab on the Options panel.
  6. Press the 9 key to power off, and then turn the power back on.
