OL2000: The "NewInspector" Event Does Not Start Consistently After You Install the Outlook E-mail Security Update (317944)

SYMPTOMS

The NewInspector event does not start consistently after you install the Outlook E-mail Security Update in Outlook 2000.

The NewInspector event fires for the first inspector that is opened after you start Outlook 2000, but it does not fire for inspectors that are opened after that.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
