SYMPTOMS

When you invoke an application proxy, you may receive the following error message on your Microsoft Visual Studio .NET client computer:
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x8011042A): Changes to this object and its sub-objects have been disabled

RESOLUTION
