Pressing an Internet Key Hangs the Computer After You Run the Internet Connection Wizard (315163)

SYMPTOMS

On a computer with a Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro keyboard connected, the computer may stop responding (hang) if you press an Internet key immediately after you quit the Internet Connection Wizard. Although you can move the mouse pointer, the computer does not respond to keyboard or mouse button input. This problem occurs only if you quit the Internet Connection Wizard while the Tutorial window is open.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, close the Tutorial window before you quit the Internet Connection Wizard, or click a mouse button immediately after you quit the Internet Connection Wizard.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
