FIX: Cannot install Message Queuing-MQSeries bridge on IBM Netfinity (315067)

SYMPTOMS

When you perform a local node install of Message Queuing-MQSeries Bridge, and then you run the BCluster utility to create the Bridge cluster resource, you receive the following error message:
"Failed to create resource name: Microsoft MSMQ - MQSeries Bridge Service"

CAUSE

IBM Netfinity with Microsoft Cluster Server uses a Resource Type name that is different from the Microsoft default name Physical Disk.

RESOLUTION

This hotfix changes the test for the shared disk resource to validate the resource class instead of the Resource Type name.
A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next that contains this hotfix.
