OL2000: Your Outlook Appointments Print as White-on-Black in a Monthly Calendar (315012)

SYMPTOMS

When you print a monthly calendar from Outlook, each appointment appears as a black box and the text inside the box appears in white. However, the text should be black on a white background.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the option for using gray shading is turned on in the Print settings.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, turn off the option for using gray shading. Follow these steps:
  1. Set up the monthly calendar that you want to print.
  2. On the File menu, click Print, and then click Page Setup.
  3. Click to clear the Print using gray shading check box, and then click OK.
  4. Click OK to print.
