XCCC: Cannot Delete Bindings Using the Self-Provisioning Web Page (314988)

SYMPTOMS

You may not be able to use the Self-Provisioning Web page to delete bindings.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if you rename the Mobile Inbox folder. The Self-Provisioning Web page is hardcoded to look for bindings in the Mobile Inbox folder.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, manually delete the Mobile Inbox folder that you renamed, and then use the Airweb page to personalize the user again. When you do so, the personalizing page re-creates the Mobile Inbox folder in your mailbox. You can now use the Self-Provisioning Web page to delete bindings in this folder.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
