Can Still See Blocked Contact Who Signs On and Off in Messenger 4.6 (313976)

After you block one of your contacts, you are signaled on the right side of the screen when that contact signs on and off. The repeated changes on the user interface may be distracting.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, delete the contact.

When you block a contact, that contact is still in your contact list. If you do not want to be notified when the contact logs on and off, you must delete the contact. To verify that the contact is still blocked, click Options on the Tools menu, and then click the Privacy tab to see whether the blocked contact is listed under My Block List.
