Site and Content Rules Do Not Work with a Destination Set with Two "*" Destinations with Different Paths (313378)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2000
This article was previously published under Q313378 SYMPTOMS
When you have two "*" destinations with different paths, clients may receive an error 502 from the Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server-based computer even if an Allow Site and Content rule is being used.
CAUSE
This problem can occur because of the mechanism that ISA Server uses to store the destinations from within a destination set. If there are two "*" destinations in one destination set, they are not stored and evaluated correctly.
RESOLUTION
This problem is resolved in the latest service pack for Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2000.
