Windows Media Player visualization is displayed when you playback audio only with a video template in Producer for PowerPoint 2002 (312952)

This article was previously published under Q312952 SYMPTOMS When you use a video template with audio only in a
presentation, the video window displays a Windows Media Player visualization.
CAUSE When you play only audio, Microsoft Windows Media Player
7.x and Microsoft Windows Media Player for Windows XP version 8.0 display
visualizations.
Windows Media Player 6.x does not display these
visualizations, because visualizations are not part of Windows Media Player
6.x. RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, change the Media Player options to
not display visualizations.
