SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to connect to your financial institution to download information, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
Money requires a high level of data encryption when connecting to a server. Money has determined that your system is currently unable to encrypt data at the level Money requires. Money will not connect to a server until your system can support the required level of encryption.

To fix this: Download the latest security upgrade from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/default.mspx. Do you want to do this now?
When you attempt to install the file that you download from this Microsoft Web site, you may receive an error message that states that this download will not work with your operating system.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur when you attempt to install the Microsoft Internet Explorer High Encryption Pack for Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, and Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 on a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, download and install latest encryption pack for Windows 2000 from the following Microsoft Web site:
