SYMPTOMS

If you have a custom form in Microsoft Outlook 2002 that submits an ASP request by using a POST method and the form expects Outlook to display the confirmation of the request, the confirmation you receive may not be displayed accurately.

RESOLUTION

Internet Explorer 6

Note that the following hotfix is for use with Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Pack 2.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1.
